BEACH BOXES No’s 72, 81 & 88

Ranelagh Club Members have access to our traditional weatherboard beach boxes, located right on the sand at Ranelagh Beach.

These iconic and colourful beach boxes provide a great base for long days at the beach. They are equipped with gas BBQs and furniture, offering shade and facilities right on the sand.

Our stunning beach boxes are a cherished part of the Mornington Peninsula’s cultural heritage. We are delighted to offer these wonderful facilities to our members.

Our beach boxes are a fully shared facility for all members to enjoy.

Kayak & Stand-up Paddle Board (SUP) STORAGE

There are ample facilities at the club to store kayaks and stand-up paddle boards (SUP) within the Main Boat Shed (MBS) at the Club.

Members are very active in taking to the water for kayaking, fishing, dolphin spotting, or simply enjoying the beauty of the local area from a maritime perspective.

This is a popular facility utilized by many members, and waitlists do apply during peak times.

Kayak and SUP storage must be coordinated via the office before accessing the Motorboat Shed. Additional fees apply for this facility.

Tennis Courts

Tennis is a vibrant part of the Ranelagh Club. Our tennis cabana and six floodlit mod grass courts, allow continuous play from day through to late evening all year round.

The tennis courts at the Club are available for all members to use and members are welcome to bring guests. Guests must sign in and pay the applicable $10 fee to play.

There are active ladies, men’s, mixed and junior tournaments that compete all year around. However, if you would like to meet some new people, play some tennis, without the pressure of competition, come along to the Monday and Thursday morning social games and enjoy a hit in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Kids’ Playground

Rewinding back to the wishes of the first Board of Directors back in 1925 for a dedicated area for children to play, our Playground was established in August 1924.

The playground was built in collaboration with one of our Club’s sponsors, LJM Construction Australia.

This great play space with timber and nautical theme sits happily between the trees and the tennis courts creating a great space for all to relax and enjoy.

Many fun times have been had already!
